Vibration 1950 Streamliner

It looks to be correct, I believe it can only go together the one way. I've attached a couple photos of one removed from the car.

   

   

When you put all this together, did everything line up naturally? Rear mounts also? Was there any vibration at all prior to replacement of the mounts?

I think I'd loosen the bolts holding the front mount to the cross member and jack it up a little and see if it remains lined up or if binds tight against the bolts.

Also, does it vibrate at idle? only when driving or revved up? Make any difference when you push the clutch in? Have you checked the bellhousing and transmission bolts to make sure they're tight? A vibration there could travel up the column.

Is the vibration only felt in the column?

I know it's a bunch of questions, but it may give you some ideas, things to check.
