Where to find your VIN:

Your car's serial (VIN) is located in three places:

  1. A stainless steel plate on the driver’s side "A" pillar (windshield post area).
  2. Note: 1949-50 attached with screws, 1951-52 with rivets, 1953-54 by spot welds.
  3. A flat pad on the front left of the engine block, just below the cylinder head.
  4. Stamped on top of the frame under the driver floor board.
  5. Note: Likely inaccessible unless the floor pan is removed, though it may be seen with a mirror or traced with a pencil on paper.
